What you will do

  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and material selection to ensure the design meets the required specifications and standards.
  • Create detailed 2D and 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications using CAD software.
  • Utilize engineering tools and simulation software to evaluate the performance, structural integrity, and manufacturability of product designs.
  • Identify and resolve design issues or manufacturing challenges during the product development process.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source the highest quality materials and components at competitive prices.
  • Conduct product testing, including functional and durability tests, and analyzing the test results to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews and providing constructive feedback to enhance the overall product design and performance.
  • Staying up to date with the latest advancements in materials, manufacturing techniques, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Engineer, preferably in the manufacturing industry, with a strong focus on aluminium, steel, and plastic parts.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) for creating detailed models, drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to propose innovative solutions to design and manufacturing challenges.
  • A passion for innovation, continuous learning, and driving positive change in the industry.
